Applying from Pakistan, I always felt that international opportunities like studying in the USA were out of reach. With limited guidance and access to proper information, it often seemed impossible to compete for such prestigious programs.
While searching for fully funded opportunities, I came across the SUSI fellowship through Scholarships Corner. That’s when I realized that opportunities like these do exist — you just need the right platform to find them.
The Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSI) is a highly competitive, fully funded academic and cultural exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government. Being selected for this program became a turning point in my journey.
During my time in the United States, I participated in academic sessions, workshops, seminars, and community engagement activities alongside participants from around the world. The experience exposed me to new perspectives on leadership, governance, and civic engagement.
Beyond academics, this journey helped me grow personally. I developed confidence, improved my communication skills, and gained a broader global perspective. Interacting with scholars, policymakers, and fellow participants strengthened my belief that I can contribute meaningfully to my community.
Representing Pakistan on such an international platform was truly an honor. This experience has not only shaped my academic path but also inspired my future goals in leadership and law.
